The start of each semester is a happy time for us on Wanyuan Campus. Our student body is growing and we enjoy welcoming new students and welcoming back those who are returning. We have a variety of optional courses and student clubs ranging from sports to arts for students to choose from. One of the characteristic aspects of international education is to provide students with diversity courses that intentionally prepare them to be active and engaged participants in an interconnected world.
Much is happening for the outsourcing lessons in Grade 6 and 7 as the fall semester gets under way. We’ve invited external professionals to develop 2 new courses. Optional courses feature full use of various resources to provide students with opportunities to know more about both traditional culture and cutting-edge technology.
Student clubs are our priority this academic year. Besides our five school teams covering basketball, football and volleyball, we also cooperate with International Table Tennis Museum. With the help of the appointed coaches, we now have a new school team – table tennis team. After weeks of preparations, Middle School teachers have started 22 student clubs, which take place between 3:20 and 4:10 every Wednesday afternoon. On September 12th, we met for the first time. Student clubs are a great way for students to get involved and make new friends. They often offer leadership opportunities, learning experiences, and environments to network with professionals.
